Wastewater Collection Division Overview
The Bowling Green Wastewater Collection Division is responsible for maintaining the sewage collection system, which entails 14 sewage lift stations with 2 to 3 pumps in each station, ranging in size from 4 inch to 6 inch pumps. The Division is responsible for maintaining 85 miles of sanitary sewers ranging in size from 6 inch to 108 inch, combination sewers, and 35 miles of storm sewers ranging in size from 6 inch to 60 inch. The Wastewater Collection Division also mows and maintains the ditches within the city limits.
The normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm. If there is an emergency after normal working hours call the Police Department at 419-352-1131 and explain your emergency and they will contact the proper authorities. The Sewer Division has personnel on duty after hours and on weekends and holidays.
