2022 QUICK PLAY SPORTS
This 5-week program will consist of multi-sport approaches and classic PE class-style games. This new program is for children in grades 1-4 (ages 7-10). This program will meet on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 PM at the Bowling Green Community Center. Participants should bring tennis shoes and be prepared to play outdoors or indoors (weather permitting).
2022 FOUNDATION OF SPORTS
This 7 week program will focus on speed, strength, coordination, conditioning, and flexibility to help participants improve their abilities. The program consists of one 60-minute training session per week. Middle school participants will train from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM and high school participants will train from 11:45AM-1PM. Training will help participants prepare for upcoming sports seasons of their own interest. The program will be instructed by Division 1 Coach, James Gildon.
A pretest to the program will take place on Saturday, August 27th (10:30 or 11:30 AM).
FOS is a training program designed to improve speed, power, and sports conditioning. The program will focus on the five biomotor abilities: speed, strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. These abilities create a foundation of training that can be utilized in any sport of the participants choosing. Training sessions will include dynamic warm-up, form running and sprint drills, general & specific movements related to sport, conditioning, and cool-down.
FOS is open to middle and high school students of all ability levels. This camp is open to all, limited only by age and number of campers. Training will be tailored so each participant can improve upon the aforementioned biomotor abilities that will aid in efficient movement patterns that will prepare them for sport(s).
